International Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for motivated volunteers to contribute to our projects abroad.  Volunteer opportunities are available in commitments ranging from three months to two years.  The specific responsibilities and duties of each volunteer can vary widely—and no two days are ever the same!  We provide challenging assignments, training support, and a commitment to your professional development.  Please click here to apply.   

Home Office Internship Program

Solimar is committed to building future leaders of sustainable tourism development!  Our Washington DC-based internship program is designed to help current students and recent graduates gain real-world experience in sustainable tourism development and project management.  While we are able to work around various schedules, internships are generally available throughout the year as part of one of the following sessions:

Summer Session (May 15 – August 31)

To be considered for a Summer internship, applications are accepted between January 1st and April 1st each year.

Fall Session (September 1 – December 15)

To be considered for a Fall internship, applications are accepted between May 1st and August 1st each year.

Spring Session (January 15 – May 1)

To be considered for a Spring internship, applications are accepted between September 1st and December 1st each year.
