    The logo was created in collaboration with the native Batwa tribe, who demonstrate to visitors their traditional hunter-gatherer skills and deep knowledge of the forest.

    The Izabal Geotourism Alliance is a group of local non-profit organizations and businesses dedicated to working with travelers and the travel industry to enhance the environment and well-being of local residents in the Izabal region of Guatemala. The logo is based on Mayan glyphs found in the region and represents Izabal’s cultural and natural attributes.

    Bocas del Toro destination logo

    This destination logo was designed following feedback from local residents and businesses. Bocas del Toro has been the subject of extremely rapid and fragmented tourism expansion, and a more unified image was sought for the region.

    Bocas Sustainable Tourism Alliance (BSTA) logo

    The BSTA is a non-profit organization formed by owners of local hotels and restaurants, tour operators, boat drivers and indigenous community members. BSTA opened Bocas’ first Tourist Information Center and developed a web portal to promote cultural and natural attractions and support sustainable tourism initiatives. The frog is one of the region’s emblematic species, and vulnerable to loss of habitat and climate change.

    Guassa Community Conservation Area logo

    Guassa Community Conservation Area, in the highlands of Ethiopia, is managed partly by local communities, and tourism is being promoted in the region in order to generate an alternative income for these residents and to support the management of the area. The logo features the endemic and endangered Ethiopian wolf.

    Berraco del Madidi is a high-end adventure company offering tours in Madidi National Park, Bolivia. “Berraco” is the local word for a peccary, or giant forest hog, a sepcies found in this region.

    Jaguar Tours wanted an image overhaul, but wished to retain a monochrome design to facilitate printing and reduce costs. Emphasis was placed on the “relaxing” aspect of their tours, thanks to their comfortable lodges in the Bolivian pampas.
